As we already knew MiUi 12 already developed in China & with MiUi 12 is already being developed by Xiaomi. The Call was When we can expect MiUi 12 on to My Device? Well your wait is no longer awaited anymore. On 27th April 2020, Monday Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 10 Youth alongside the brand-new MiUi 12. The Xiaomi’s MiUi 12 houses a long list of latest Changes over Android UI. Name a few, Visual Enhancements, Improved Privacy Controls, Streamlined Gesture Navigation and Dark Mode.

Proceeding With MiUi 12 Beta:

The Xiaomi has already closed its MiUi 12 Beta Testing and is already on its release in China you have to wait a bit long for a Stable Version of MiUi 12 somewhere around the end of June 2020. Also, there are no exact and clear details about the International Release. However, Xiaomi has released a Tentative Time Frame for the Stable Update Release of MiUi 12 for few of its Devices. Dark Mode 2.0:

Xiaomi said that the Dark Mode of MiUi 12 have been completely revamped and gives the Smartphone completely New Look. The Dark Mode 2.0 brings life to the Xiaomi Devices by demining the Wallpapers in the Xiaomi Smartphones. This Feature work along-side the Time of the Day and gradually dims the Wallpaper as the Daylight changes to Night Time. Isn’t it Cool? The Wallpaper Quality remains the same and will not be altered or lowered when changes happen. It also capable of Automatic Font Weight Adjustment, Automatic Contrast Adjustment and New Adaptive Icons.

 

 

Sensory Visual Design:

The MiUi 12 comes along with the Visualization Mode. That means it offers more detailed Visual Management across the Core System Information. The MiUi 12 the complete Status of the System at a Glance in easily understandable elegant Visual Metrics. To be precise the Xiaomi calls it as the “New Sensory Visual Design”. For Example, When you Visit your Settings Menu on your Xiaomi Phone for the information about Battery Information, you will be treated and presented the Data’s and Facts with nice clean and elegant Visual Graphs & Diagrams.

When it comes to Wallpapers the Xiaomi has introduced so called “Super Wallpapers” in the New MiUi 12 Update. Xiaomi has created awesome and amazing high-Precision Animated 3D Models of Mars and Earth based on available Space Exploration Data. These Wallpapers can be set on to your Xiaomi Smartphones both in Locked and Unlocked or Home Screens. You can choose different Plants (at Present Earth & Mars) as Wallpapers. These Wallpapers enter into Night Mode as and when the Phone enters Dark Mode increasing your Smartphones Visual Experience.

 

New Animations:

In the MiUi 12 Update, Xiaomi has put lot of efforts in redesigning as much as possible. This New Skin Look brings realistic whether information’s in forms of Animation and shows Real-Time Whether changes which displays in the form of a Time-Lapse Movie on your Screen.

Alongside the MiUi 12 brings refresh-ness in the Animation of App Icons too. App icons will now generate real-time feedback based on your gestures. This happens based on the Gesture Directions and taking into account of Speed. Also you can see lots of changes in Screen Rotation, Opening and Closing of Apps. For Example, After you Delete an Application, the Ripple Animation will be found which will also affect the surrounding Apps to animate.

 

New Gestures:

For instance, when an any Notification comes on your Screen, you can Swipe Down on the Notifications Panel to interact with a particular App without leaving what you were doing. Also, you can Slide Down the particular App to expand it into a Small Window, which can be freely Dragged around the Screen for a similar to like Split-Screen-Effect.

 

AI Calling:

Xiaomi was developing on AI Calling from past few years. Now according to Xiaomi, it has well trained its AI Assistant called “Xiao AI” to Answer Users Calls which it has answered almost 4 Million Calls to its MiUi 12 Beta Users. It’s almost similar to the Google’s Call Screen Feature “Google AI” for answering Calls which was released with Google Pixel 3.

Xiaomi has officially upgraded its AI Phone Assistant in MiUi 12 to a feature called “AI Calling.” It also offers Customization Language Selection to its Users the way they want it to be Answered. However, this feature as of now unclear for International Markets except China. We need to wait and see.

 

Enhanced Privacy:

The MiUi 12 Update also brings lots of Privacy Controls with enhanced features to its Xiaomi Smartphones. For Example, there is an Option of Grant Permissions to Apps Only Once or Only while you’re using them. Once you’re finished using the Apps the Permissions will be revoked back to normal. And for the other Apps which doesn’t clarify the usage of Permissions on to your Phone, the “Always Allow” option wouldn’t be provided.

Now the Apps Behavior can also keep track for its Users in MiUi 12. MiUi 12 allows its Users to View Records of How an app behaves on your phone, the information it collects, the other applications it uses, etc., all in one place
